PAIN POINTS OF WORKING IN INDUSTRIAL AREAS
For most of us, there are a lot of pain points in our work-life for sure. The pain points are much more than those working in CBD areas which they are facing issues with daily meals, transportation, and weather conditions.
1. DAILY BREAKFAST, LUNCH, AND DINNER
This is a big headache for those working in industrial areas as there are limited food choices. Especially for those working in Tuas and Jurong Island, the canteen is either too far from their company or not within the walking distance. 2. TRANSPORTATION
One of the pain point that most employees hesitate to get a job in industrial areas is transportation. As we know, industrial areas are usually located on the edges of, or outside, the main residential area or CBD area. Which there’s not much transportation access for that.
3. WEATHER CONDITIONS
The weather conditions are also part of the pain point as there’s no shelter at all for the access to industrial areas. Normally when during mealtimes, employees have to bring an umbrella out either on a sunny or rainy day. As such, lots of them prefer to order food delivery because it’s convenient for them.
